Completely renovated venue and updated wine offering, Aic 2020. Menu with good reinterpreted traditional Ligurian dishes.

good evening, I'm the owner of the establishment and I'm replying to Antonia. You see madam, I won't get into the merits of your judgments (I don't think I need to justify my work in the face of such blatant hypocrisies and trivialities) about the quality of the kitchen and the service, as they're personal and therefore debatable, and it's also true that our main activity is catering but, I add, in these last three months, precisely because of the catering, we've been closed as a trattoria and so I couldn't have served you or any other customer. Did you go to the wrong place? or are you biased because I turned down your reservation (you remind me of a lady from the other night who answered me irritably on the phone), perhaps suggesting the day we were available? "I would only save the wines, for which the selection is good": since you claim to have been there, you should know that in the trattoria there are ONLY 1 white wine and 1 red wine, I don't know where you read the wine list. I went to this "trattoria" because it was recommended to me by acquaintances, but as soon as I walked in I had the impression of being in a company canteen, a gloomy, oppressive, cold, pseudo-rustic atmosphere. The menu offers local traditional dishes that any Ligurian would cook better, the use of too many aromatic herbs alters (and/or masks) the flavor of the dishes, which are also scarce in quantity. I would only save the wines, for which the selection is good, the desserts fail as they're certainly not distinguished by originality. On top of that, since the owners run a catering service alongside the establishment, the availability of times and days when you can book is subject to their own needs; we were given a table at 7:30pm and the service was rushed, with the barely concealed intent of making us leave the table as soon as possible! More of a canteen than that! Not recommended.

The atmosphere of the place is a bit gloomy but the food is excellent. I recommend the fixed-price menu with the valley's typical dishes.
