Given the date of the review, you probably went to the restaurant during Ferragosto week. The venue, especially in summer periods, is often full and it's therefore advisable to book. We're sure the staff did everything possible to try to satisfy your requests even given a situation of above average crowding. The fact that some dishes, during the evening, aren't available is a sign of fresh and genuine products and therefore limited. As for the GF dishes, they're all available with no reservation (except pizza for rising reasons), but for organizational reasons and to reduce the wait it's advisable to book. We chose the campsite also for the convenience of having a GF restaurant....Mistake! the first evening we arrived they complained because we hadn't booked and said we had to book every day of the week if we wanted to go. in short, without booking they had nothing...no pizza, no pasta....in the end I ate a little chop...as a side they couldn't give me potatoes, not even cooked vegetables.. only salad! And thank goodness I'd brought a pack of crackers because they didn't even have a couple of rice cakes...what can I say? we never went back!!!
