Our restaurant, Poseidon, specializes in preparing traditional seafood dishes of Sicilian cuisine, without neglecting the various typical meat dishes. The blend of traditional and creative cuisine allows the restaurant to offer a complete menu, all prepared with care and expertise: from refined fresh fish to classic meat dishes, from tasty wood-fired pizzas to typical Sicilian desserts. Poseidon is also well equipped and specialized in preparing pizzas and any other dish gluten-free, prepared with the right care, guaranteeing maximum safety for our customers. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, further enriched by our staff, who kindly and professionally host guests and are always ready to fulfill every wish. The restaurant's two large rooms allow for organizing banquets, events and receptions of all kinds, such as: business meetings, school trips, wedding lunches, social events, group dinners and candlelit dinners. Our facility also includes a guesthouse next to the restaurant, offering the chance to stay for short and long vacation periods in single, double, triple rooms or apartments. The building has: a lower floor with four rooms (single, double and triple), all air-conditioned and with private entrance, equipped with TV, bathroom and kitchenette; an upper floor with two apartments designed to host two to four people, equipped with two bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. It is possible to cook inside the apartments or to have lunch and dinner at the restaurant at special rates. All this about 400 m from the beautiful beach of Santa Maria del Focallo, reachable also on foot. Our location is convenient for anyone who loves to travel and reach some of the destinations that this splendid southern area has to offer. At a distance of just 4 km you can reach the seaside town of Pozzallo and the historic town of Ispica; while at a distance of about 25 km you can reach the baroque and artistic towns of Modica and Noto. Our beaches, marked by the so-called "blue flag", are very popular with tourists who come to visit us every year, and many of them are freely accessible and, in many areas, well equipped with various beach facilities offering all sorts of amenities.
