I'm replying to Alessia, I'm sorry you had such a negative impression of our place; my staff, myself included, received specific training on GF, so I very much doubt your request was considered "alien". I can tell you that you probably didn't find us ready for aperitivo service because that's an area our business hasn't developed until now, not even on the "regular" side. That said, I'm sorry our linens and our tableware aren't up to your standards but, maybe I'm wrong, because as the saying goes: appearances matter too", I prefer to focus on the quality of the food I put on the table for my customers rather than on the color of my tablecloths. Well I have my doubts reading the previous review because we went there for an aperitivo with friends and I absolutely did not find all this "attention", in fact when I mentioned there was a person intolerant to gluten they looked at me like I was an alien and just brought 2 bowls, chipped at that, of chips, warning me that I couldn't eat them!!! Also a very dreary place with tables, chairs and tablecloths that look like they were picked up at a flea market, which if they were at least matched and well arranged wouldn't be a bad little spot at all, but put together like this I very much doubt it will see me again....

Historic family-run Osteria in Calco, recently converted to "Gluten Free". Wide choice of dishes and excellent quality, even at lunchtime with a business menu. Affordable prices. Very friendly and helpful owners, attentive to all allergens. Well done!!!
