The small restaurant inside the facility, understated and elegant, was designed for those who want to savor the true, genuine flavors of this part of Tuscany. Recipes designed to cater to celiacs, vegans, but above all to food lovers. The menu also includes cured meat boards, handmade pasta, typical Tuscan recipes. The choice of dishes aims to highlight the seasonality and typical products of Tuscany. All accompanied by homemade desserts and jams, organic and biodynamic wines and, of course, our famous extra virgin olive oil, featured in the best guides. It used to be the estate's old wine cellar, and the large barrels are still there to remind us of it. Here our grapes were once vinified and our wines set off from here. Now it is La Taverna dell'Olio restaurant, open to our guests and outside customers. The attention to detail is striking: crystal drops hang from the vaulted red-brick ceiling, framing the swallows' nest, tables made from old sewing machines, furnishings that respect Tuscan tradition. A welcoming setting that prepares you to taste traditional or innovative dishes, inspired by local products or those from the nearby vegetable garden. A garden that aims to be "fair", meaning it respects natural balance. A zero-kilometer, short-supply-chain menu, in the spirit of Slow Food. In summer you eat outside, under "the sails". In the distance, clearly visible, the sea, the islands, the Gulf of Baratti. Closer, the hills, the olive grove, the smell of the countryside. A romantic, evocative place, relaxing and enticing, in a word unforgettable.
