The prestigious restaurant La Rocca dei Frangipane, located inside the brand-new Tolfa Hotel (about an hour's drive from Rome), has a large, bright dining room seating 150 comfortably (maximum capacity 160). The outdoor terrace also offers a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding green hilly landscape, one of the most characteristic of the well-known Maremma Laziale area, and the chance to spend unforgettable moments immersed in a pleasant, relaxing setting. Every detail of the interior décor is carefully curated with the utmost attention, helping to make the room extremely welcoming and full of precious details, so our guests can feel completely at ease: comfortable upholstered chairs, square or round tables on request, high chairs for children, delicate, gleaming sets of plates, glasses and cutlery to make every occasion special, warm lighting, ever-changing floral arrangements, a display of wines and local specialty products. The room also has air conditioning and a characteristic wood-burning fireplace, always lit during the winter months. The dishes made at La Rocca dei Frangipane are all based on zero-kilometer local traditional products and on the most genuine Mediterranean cuisine, simple yet at the same time rich in excellent ingredients. Every specialty is enriched with natural aromas and wild herbs from our countryside; first courses feature pasta strictly handmade following old recipes reinterpreted by our Chef's imagination, authentic flavors enhanced by the most modern culinary techniques. The menu offers meat, fish and vegetables from our own garden, purchased from selected local and national producers. Every day you can also choose among various fresh desserts handmade by our Chef. Ghighe alla tolfetana, tonnarelli al tartufo, acquacotta, panonto and mentucciata are just a few of the many typical local dishes featured on the menu, which continually changes with the seasons. All the specialties offered are also paired with Italy's most prestigious wines (over 70 labels). La Rocca dei Frangipane is registered with AIC, the Italian Celiac Association, a note of particular interest that makes the restaurant even more special and sought-after.
