Unfortunately since the change of venue they can no longer make gluten-free pizzas…..Appetizers, first courses, main courses ok but no pizza

I was there last night, I had an excellent spaghetti dish with burrata and cherry tomatoes, pasta cooked just right, that's not always a given!! Young and helpful staff. Really clean bathroom!!!

We waited an hour from ordering to the first courses arriving. The dishes didn't arrive together but even half an hour apart.. the last ones after more than an hour the gluten-free pizzas. Too bad because they were good and crunchy. Mixed appetizers disappointing.

I ate there a few days ago, they seemed very knowledgeable to me about the "gluten-free" issue and I tried a divine piadina. recommended!

I've been coming to eat at the Giubilo brothers' for years, since they were at the other location. Bright and cozy place, excellent service... Excellent gluten-free pizza (when I'm in Brindisi I call to book and it's always available). Varied appetizers as well as first and main courses.... And the desserts.... to die for

We have read the comments from the not-better-identified Stefania and Andrea regarding our restaurant business, with particular reference to gluten-free foods. Having said that we are surprised and indignant at certain assessments, entirely unfounded and unjustified, we clarify that our commitment in the field of gluten-free food dates back to as far as 1989 and has always been accompanied by the utmost respect for celiac people. Far be it from us to intend to make it a tool for easy profit, quite the opposite. Over all these years we have received many acknowledgments and thanks from groups and associations or simple customers, from Brindisi and beyond, who have appreciated our sensitivity and above all the seriousness and quality of our various offerings. Our menus regularly provide the possibility of serving gluten-free dishes. Naturally, we take for granted that customers who have this need inform us at the time of ordering: something that, evidently, did not happen for Mr. Andrea and Mrs. Stefania, who expressed such a negative judgment without any reason. Our conscience is clear and we continue to carry out our work calmly, certain that the old and new patrons of the GiuGio restaurant will be able to count on our courtesy, our established experience … and of course on our gluten-free dishes. Thank you for your hospitality and good work. PS - Do not be surprised by the self-assessment rating (we chose the most reasonable one, namely "very good") because otherwise the system would not have allowed us to publish our reply without giving a rating to the venue. On the other hand, we believe we do our job in the best possible way.

Dear Andrea, if you visit the restaurant's facebook page, in the info section, it says they do both gluten-free cuisine and pizzeria.

Very poor judgment: they put themselves on the list of places with gluten-free cuisine, when they don't even have a menu with gluten-free dishes to show.
