Excellent venue, the manager knows his job.The range of dishes satisfies everyone.I managed to find a wide, good choice of gluten-free products.I went home having also tried the pasticciotto I'll definitely be back

Not bad, I ate a few snacks that were okay and the pizza was very good, it seemed kind of like a Roman-style one from the texture. The staff was excellent, I too join the other comments and recommend it ✨🙂

Excellent gluten-free pizza, good toppings, the pasticciotto <3 and the artisanal hemp gluten-free beer. They are really nice and always cheerful. The venue is a bit out of the way and not super well equipped but it's one of my best experiences as a celiac. I recommend them wholeheartedly. Thank you.

No-frills venue but the product quality is excellent, the owner is an exquisite person, as is the waitress, always attentive to the customer and really courteous. We'll definitely be back to visit them. Passes with flying colors.

Everything excellent, fried food only gluten-free really delicious, both the gluten-free and the regular pizzas really delicious; he's really pleasant, always going around the tables to ask if everything is ok, he really instills a lot of confidence. One of the best restaurants dealing with gluten-free I've ever eaten at.

We spent a week on vacation in Lecce and the surrounding area and had dinner at zio Giglio's a full three evenings. Excellent both the gluten pizza and the gluten-free one! Pleasant Mary and also the owner who walks among the tables to greet guests and chat. Well done!!

Yesterday, after a long time, I tried the pizza again. The dough seemed different to me but good. Too bad I can't find anymore the fried little calzone I liked so much. What they make now is good but a bit big to finish alone. I still recommend it

I was here for lunch I have to say the gluten-free choice is truly limited, however the dishes are truly good I had never tried gluten-free arancini and I have to say I liked these a lot, also the sandwich is truly excellent highly recommended.easygoing location and staff really kind.Honest prices

EXCEPTIONAL!!! Spartan venue but you eat well. Since I became celiac I thought I could no longer eat many things... here you can eat everything. And what about the pasticciotti? Phenomenal!

Venue downtown Lecce, with many gluten-free and lactose-free products, both typical and not. Everything really good! Frise highly recommended!!... Even though there's nothing on the display counter, the products exist because they prepare everything on the spot.

Zio giglio is history..wherever you go they know him..he's spent a lifetime of his own life on gluten-free..when in Lecce and Salento nothing was known about celiac disease he was already starting to experiment with the first things..I recommend everyone go there, eat the pizza, but what's really special in my opinion is the pasticciotto and the rustico..with all due respect for the opinions on this app it's absolutely not true that the prices are high and then tell me what's more beautiful than when you go to a place and find everything in the window gluten-free ranging from sweet to savory???it's called gratitude folks...☺️

Aside from the endless time waiting for a pizza or anything else gf,which then after eating it digestion happens the next day the staff except for the pizza chef who's a fun guy the others all rude and zero professionalism..anyway for me it was the last time...they can change jobs and sell vegetables

5 choux buns (small!) for 3€?!? Seems a bit much to me.. I can't digest the pizza, very heavy and not as good as it used to be... The rotisserie is very good, the meat and pea arancino is unbeatable!

We always come to Zio Giglio's when we're in Lecce but this year the waits are really long and the service quite poor. I'm sorry but we won't be back.

Just today I was at Zio Giglio's....I queued to order and found out for table service you had to order directly from the waiter. I sit down and the waiter lets other people go ahead of me. After a while I decided to queue again for takeaway....Over 40 minutes of waiting ... What happened to the staff from some time ago? The products are excellent (5 stars) but the service.....even less than one

Just this past Friday 18.06.2015 we tried to eat two GF pizzas. the cashier, very busy on her phone, made me wait more than 15 minutes. rude waiter and cashier always busy on the phone. Since the staff changed, they need to change the pizzeria too. I'm giving one star but with a minus sign. Change the staff. right now it's terrible.

when we go to Lecce we stop here for my GF son and for us with gluten everything is delicious and inexpensive, the place is spartan but in summer it's fine too. the owner has a calling for children especially those with this need and having spoken to him many times I know that behind his skill there's also an ethical choice, to give everyone the chance to eat good things because you can do it gluten-free too. he and his staff are excellent.

Zio Giglio.....A name, a guarantee. Staff always Helpful and above all SMILING.For them the word NO doesn't exist.Excellent meeting point with celiac and non-celiac people, for exchanging ideas and tastes.Excellent the gluten-free pizza (hard to tell apart from the one with gluten), like the arancini, small fried snacks, fries etc etc.Zio Giglio (in my opinion) is the father of gluten-free places. He was the first to open a gluten-free place, he was the first to organize a Gluten-Free Fair, he's the first to organize a gluten-free cruise combining fun with gluten-free eating.What can I say.....UNCLE THANK YOU FOR EXISTING.
