Last year I ordered a gluten-free seafood pizza for takeaway; once I opened it at home I noticed that besides the usual mussels, clams and shrimp they had also added Surimi. Having once read this article --> http://www.aicveneto.it/component/content/article?id=196:novita-qsurimiq I trusted the good faith of the pizzeria and the various positive comments from celiacs who had written about it on the "Mangiare senza glutine" app, and genuinely believing they had used a Surimi that is safe for us, I ate it. The next day I had very strong pain, and the pizzeria's manager justified himself by saying that many people order it gluten-free even though they're only intolerant. It made me laugh thinking about the gluten-free pizza sign at the entrance and the fact that they keep the gluten-free beer in a separate fridge. In my opinion they shouldn't have put that sign up, but should instead specify that only the base is safe, not the topping ingredients. The pizza is the final product, and if you tell me it's gluten-free, it has to be entirely so. This is about information, honesty, common sense and consideration for the customer; I too work in a job that involves customer service, and if I'm not sure about a question I'm asked, I apologize, but I'd rather lose the customer than make them feel sick. Health is not something to joke about!

extremely kind staff ready for every taste and need .. I have a son who is allergic and celiac .. rating from 1 to 10 ... 11!!!
