About twenty years ago, Mr. Derek Green, a dynamic English "gentleman" then 50 years old, discovered he was gluten intolerant. For an Englishman who loved beer, this discovery was a real drama. Moreover, at that time, gluten-free beers were a rarity. Mr. Green did not give up and, with great determination, set out to develop and produce a gluten-free beer able to satisfy his own palate. He began a long, careful search, in England and Belgium, two countries with a great brewing tradition, to find a company able to carry out his project. Thus began the collaboration with two well-known Belgian breweries and the great success of GREEN'S gluten-free beers. The special feature of GREEN'S beers is that, although made with barley malt (not substitutes), thanks to the use of the most advanced technologies available in Belgian breweries, they guarantee a gluten content of less than 4 parts per million. Furthermore, GREEN'S is the only brewing company in the world specializing exclusively in the production of gluten-free beers, and consequently the only one able to offer consumers an entire range of 5 beers for Celiacs: blonde, brown and dark. GREEN'S beers are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Since 2013 the entire GREEN'S range has been listed in the AIC handbook.
