the venue is no longer called HD Diner but "Little New York". The sandwiches, both gluten-free and regular, were exquisite, the gluten-free bread was well baked. It's not huge but every item, whether the sandwich or the hot dog, is served with fries so the result always fills your stomach...but absolutely leave room for dessert, fantastic!!! There's a wide choice, personally I chose the pancake but the guy, always kind and courteous with every question, advised me not to get it since it was Saturday and there was a bit of confusion, with no time to prepare it since those come already prepared. He listed everything I could eat and I opted for the milkshake with caramel cream and oreo...fabulous! Highly recommended

I've been there several times, and I have to say everything is very good! All the sandwiches are gluten-free, except the appetizers: there's only one, although I don't remember which, the important thing is that they still prepare everything separately. As for desserts, not all the ones on the menu are available, but the thing that pleasantly surprised me is that they make them themselves! I asked for a pancake and it was really exquisite! Another thing: except for the desserts, which cost 1 or 2 euros more than the "regular" ones, all the sandwiches cost the same as listed on the menu! The venue is small but is very much inspired by 1950s American diners, not by chance the sandwiches are American style (very "generous"). The venue is very easy to reach, it's across from the main villa of Salerno. Passed!
