Moved to the Ortigia area. In its place, another ice cream parlor with no GF service.

I was at this venue yesterday, nice with an air-conditioned area inside. I had the famous ice cream mattonella, good product but the ice cream is the same for everyone, celiac or not.

I saw them pass the ice cream scoops through the brioches....then if someone asks for gluten-free they just sterilize the scoop but in the meantime they don't realize the ice cream is already contaminated....Not okay

Wide GF choice (ice cream, crepes, cakes, their "mattonella"...). Availability of a couple of plant-based ice cream flavors and lactose-free fruit flavors (I can't say whether they're also dairy-free). Everything very good. Very pleasant summer veranda!
