Description
An online meeting for women with coeliac disease who are approaching or going through menopause, and for anyone who wants to learn more about the link between coeliac disease, bone health and hormonal changes. It is part of the series "Filo Diretto: dialoghi con gli esperti" (conversations with the experts) run by AIC Emilia Romagna. A gynaecologist, a psychologist and a medical specialist will discuss menopause, osteoporosis prevention and how a gluten-free diet and proper follow-up can help protect your bones, without overlooking the emotional side of this stage of life. The meeting is designed as a conversation, with plenty of time for participants' questions. The meeting takes place on Zoom and is free of charge, reserved for members, with a maximum of 30 participants.
