Three days of food in the historic centre of Fidenza (PR), the heart of the Gran Fiera di Borgo San Donnino, with gluten-free street food thanks to a food truck dedicated to people with coeliac disease.

Borgofood is the big showcase of the area's finest food and wine and the heart of the Gran Fiera di Borgo San Donnino, Fidenza's most beloved festival. From 9 to 11 October the historic centre fills up with stalls, tastings, street food, food trucks and shows. For anyone living gluten-free, a food truck with gluten-free dishes for people with coeliac disease is expected during Borgofood: a chance to enjoy the fair's street food safely. Always check with the stall before ordering. In Piazza Garibaldi, the DOP Economy area hosts the stands of the protection consortia for the area's PDO and PGI products (Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma, Culatello di Zibello, Coppa di Parma, Salame di Felino, Fungo di Borgotaro), with talks, masterclasses and cooking shows. Guests include chef Daniele Persegani (Friday 9 at 7 pm), Enrico Bergonzi (Saturday 10 at 3 pm), chef Massimo Spigaroli (Saturday 10 at 5 pm) and chef Igles Corelli (Sunday 11 at 5 pm). Across the rest of the historic centre you'll find the market of local specialities, the gourmet area in the courtyard of the Palazzo Municipale, the Borgo Station Food Fest with food trucks in Piazza della Repubblica and the street food space in Piazza Pontida, with music and entertainment into the evening.
