It happens in Milan, in one of the city's most iconic areas, Sempione. It's called Maison Bretonne and is a true tribute to the flavors and scents of Brittany. The motto of the owners, Davide and Roberto, certified Maître Crêpier in Rennes, is: "Good ingredients for eating well". The galettes (the savory, Breton version of crêpes) are the special specialty of this small restaurant with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Alongside the 27 types of galettes, offered with many different fillings that often combine with typical ingredients of our own tradition, such as burrata and cherry tomatoes, you can also enjoy omelettes, selections of French cheeses and then tartare and salade au panier. For those with a sweet tooth, the chance to try delicious crêpes sucrées. Finally, for true genre lovers, a selection of original Belgian beers and, last but not least, cider, the alcoholic drink typical of Breton tradition, in brut or sweet versions. I'm a regular customer of the venue. Almost all the gallettes are gf, wide choice and excellent product quality. Never tasted gallettes this good. Also the omelettes tasty. There's also the sweet version of crepes. The manager Davide is really knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

This venue was an exceptional discovery! Excellent for a quick meal, really enjoyable and unique. I'd never tried this type of cuisine and I found it really tasty. Almost all the dishes on the menu are gluten-free. The venue is also listed in the AIC guide.

I had dinner at Maison Bretonne for the first time last night, spectacular! Really beautiful venue, with the option to also eat outside. The galettes are really good, and the staff was really kind! When I'm back in Milan I'll come try the sweet ones ;)

I got here following the directions from the website http://www.celiachia.it and both my friends and I were more than satisfied. The staff is extremely kind and very attentive. Willing to explain and suggest alternatives. The quality of the ingredients is high and the combination of Breton cuisine and Italian products makes for a winning pairing! Definitely a valid alternative to the usual brunch, pizza, burgers... Highly recommended!
