Villa Dama is an organic farmhouse located in the heart of Umbria, a few km from Gubbio, overlooking a 680 m hill amid cultivated fields, woods and nature trails, in a place where a forgotten atmosphere and silence reign. It is the ideal place to relax as a couple, with friends or with family. The Villa Dama farmhouse was born in 1994 from an old, renovated farmhouse, at the center of a 170-hectare organic farming estate, at the foot of Monte Cucco. Guests are welcomed in the simple, warm atmosphere of a family-run business. Our good, genuine cooking offers every day the typical dishes of Umbrian tradition, prepared with products from the organic farm. A simple cuisine, able to recall lost flavors, unknown scents and ever-new aromas, with a selection that changes day by day, following the seasonal rhythms of the countryside. Both gluten-free and regular bread is homemade; the cured meats, made without preservatives, are the result of our pork butcher's experience and are aged in the farm's butchery. The pasta is homemade, rolled by hand, and all the meat comes from the farm's free-range and semi-free-range livestock. Among these, the Chianina cattle and the Cinta Senese pig stand out. Vegetables and fruit come daily from the vegetable garden and orchard, breakfast pastries are made with eggs from our hens. We cook using exclusively extra virgin olive oil from our own farm, obtained through cold-pressing in the historic 1956 oil mill. HOURS: Monday - Sunday: 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM Booking appreciated.
