The Terra Mia farmhouse stands on a promontory set amid the hills between Pistoia and Lucca, with views of the Montecatini and Monsummano hills. 5 km from these two spa towns, 40 km from Florence and Pisa, 20 from Lucca, 10 from Pistoia, 50 from the mountains, 40 from the Versilia coast, ideal for easy day trips and cultural excursions. Eight hectares of unspoiled woodland with ideal hiking trails, in a microclimate where citrus trees and palms combine with organic production fed by natural water springs. Accommodation consists of two apartments with independent entrances. Climate comfort is guaranteed by the building's construction, with perimeter walls, faced in the original local stone, reaching 60 cm in thickness, supplemented in winter by wood-burning fireplaces. To keep the full ecological impact with the environment, our facility is equipped with a photovoltaic canopy for electricity production. A large panoramic terrace welcomes you for breakfast, both English and American style, with eggs, jam, yogurt, cakes and sweet breads made by us, strictly from certified "organic" supply chains, also gluten-free, plus the typical beverages. The dining area, with a capacity of 30 seats, can also host guests not staying at the farmhouse and, like the terrace, is shared; here you can enjoy lunches and dinners based on typical Tuscan dishes with age-old flavors, made with "organic" products, also gluten-free. … our bread production is certainly a specialty, and the flavors you can try are truly curious! Terra Mia's old vineyard offers guests the now-rare chance to taste an exquisite wine made from "organic grapes", produced with the old Tuscan double-fermentation method without human intervention, so as to fully preserve the specificity of the vintage as an essential gift of nature, with only the contribution of love and respect. We live on the property ourselves, so the welcome is available 24 hours a day, also in English, with your own vehicle in the large private parking area, from which trails branch off into the wooded property, allowing walks of about 4 km. Natural sunbathing areas immersed in greenery and silence can also be enjoyed in winter, thanks to the microclimate guaranteed to the north by the surrounding promontories that block cold winds, and to the south by the nearby sea, which always provides a cool breeze on warm summer evenings. Pets are welcome with prior notice.
