Born from the project to bring back to life and shed new light on structures tied to a bygone way of life, and from the passion and care of Stefano Del Pela and Christina Baj-Macario, the Tenuta dei Cavalieri farmhouse arose from the renovation and expansion of an ancient watchtower of the nearby Castello del Trebbio, owned by the Baj-Macario family, and stands on a small hill overlooking the entrance to the valley of the rock on which the Castello del Trebbio itself towers, a short distance from Florence. At the restaurant you can enjoy cuisine faithful to old-time flavors, made favoring dishes that use what is grown and processed on the farm itself, from vegetables to cured meats, with a selection of cheeses, plus wine and grappa. The group of houses, the hay barns, the stables for the riding school's horses, the restaurant-pizzeria and the outdoor spaces have been finely adapted to welcome guests with whom to share contact with nature, sports, flavors and a passion for history and traditions. The Castello del Trebbio Sports Center is a few km from Florence and is connected to the most convenient transport facilities.
